The Best Salmon Patties Recipe

Southern style fried salmon patties: Hereโ€™s a fish that even kids will love to eat. Simple, quick, easy to make, and even better between two slices of bread or in a bun. Add a little mayonnaise or make your own special sauce and youโ€™ll have dinner on the table in no time.

We didnโ€™t eat a lot of salmon patties when I was growing up, but Iโ€™ve always enjoyed the taste. Of course, I love just about anything I can squeeze between two slices of sandwich bread. Iโ€™m totally addicted to sandwiches of all kinds, always have been.

As an adult, Iโ€™ve learned to enjoy salmon in many different ways. I like it baked, pan-fried or, my favorite, smoked on the grill. The price of the fish is a bit steep, but I enjoy it whenever I can.

Whatโ€™s really nice about these salmon patties is that they are quick and easy to make. I use canned salmon and ingredients that are staples in any kitchen. I try to keep a can or two in the kitchen cupboards at all times. Just mix everything together in a bowl and fry them in a pan. You can prepare the mixture and refrigerate it for several hours before cooking if necessary. This is a great main meat dish or a quick and easy sandwich, whichever you prefer. So, if youโ€™re readyโ€ฆ., letโ€™s get to work!
