  • 2 pounds ground beef

  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 cans (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2-3 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Instructions:

  • In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the pot. Cook until vegetables are tender.
  • Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce, and beef broth.
  • Add the kidney beans, chili powder, cumin, salt, sugar, black pepper, oregano, and paprika. Stir well.
  • Bring the chili to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for at least 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
