The Crack Green Beans will make even the most picky eater beg. Replace turkey bacon or ham slices with regular bacon. This recipe is a great take-out at any potluck dinner and makes a delicious and easy side dish to any dinner party.
INGREDIENTS:
5 cans of green beans, drained
1 pound of bacon
⅔ cup brown sugar
¼ cup melted butter
¼ cup low sodium soy sauce
1½ tsp garlic powder
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Pour drained green beans into an ungreased 9×13 inch baking pan.
In a large skillet, cook the bacon until almost cooked but not too crispy. Remove from pan, drain on paper towels and chop. Sprinkle cooked bacon over green beans.
Whisk together the brown sugar, melted butter, soy sauce and garlic powder. Pour over the green beans.
Cook uncovered for 40 minutes.
