Salted Caramel Chocolate Tart

Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cubed
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 tsp sea salt
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9-inch tart pan.
- In a food processor, pulse together flour, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, and chilled butter until a dough forms.
- Press the dough into the tart pan, making sure to evenly cover the bottom and sides.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, then let cool completely.
- In a small saucepan, heat granulated sugar and water over medium-high heat until it turns a deep amber color.
- Remove from heat and carefully stir in heavy cream and butter until smooth.
- Pour caramel over the cooled tart shell and sprinkle with sea salt.
- In a separate saucepan, heat heavy cream until simmering then pour over chocolate chips.
- Let sit for a few minutes, then stir until smooth. Pour over the caramel layer.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
